Five Eggs

EggsFive eggs. Not three eggs, not 53 eggs, not 5x3=15 eggs. Five eggs.

The call for an unusually large number of eggs, combined with my typo, caused confusion about the ingredients for the Crockpot Chicken and Dressing. I checked with my friend, Martha, from whom the recipe came, and she confirmed that the number of eggs is indeed five. Five eggs.

Martha has never steered me wrong, so that's how many I'm going to use when I make the dish on Thanksgiving. Five. Eggs.

I am having off-and-on computer/internet problems. And I have a ton and half of stuff to do before the family comes day after tomorrow for our Thanksgiving feast. So I might not be back to blogging until after Turkey Day--and then again, I might. You never know, as my dear MIL Irene used to love to say.

So if you don't hear from me again before, I want to wish all my blog reading friends a very happy Thanksgiving. And I also want you to know that when I list the things I'm thankful for, you are all right up that at the top of the list.

Hi there!

Thanks for the clarification on the number of eggs needed for the yummy sounding chicken and dressing. Thanks again, to Martha, too!

In the past few days, I machine quilted in-the-ditch on both of the secret Christmas wall hangings that I hope to give AMIL on Friday. This morning I cut and pieced the binding strips and am pressing that long length now. If I did the math correctly, this one length of binding should go around the two wall hangings. Fingers crossed!

Hope your internet problems go away promptly and that you get everything on your to-do list done with energy left over.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family, too! Among other things, I am so thankful for the many on-line friends who live far and wide across this country and around the world.

Hugs!
