Kitty Calm

Cats1I have to say that so far, I've been dead wrong about what the effects of bringing two kittens into Sophie and Skipper's house would be.

Jesse came in yesterday with the babies in a cat carrier. He went straight upstairs to get them ensconced, and apparently the two mutts didn't suspect a thing--and still haven't. They don't even seem too perturbed that the gate is keeping them from gaining the second floor and the sewing room, where I am now.

I don't know if they aren't aware that there are cats in the house (which is hard to believe) or if they just don't care (which is even harder to believe). It's a mystery for sure. But one for which I'm grateful.

We will wait another day or two before introducing them all. I hesitate to throw a monkey wrench into a good thing.

They don't have names yet. Jesse doesn't seem in any hurry to give them some. I suggested Bo for the little black boy with white feet, but Jesse rejected that. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Cats2
Jesse babies. According to him, the gray-and-white is a little girl, and the black with white feet is a little boy.

Cats3
"There's a strange scent in my house this morning," says Skipper. "If I didn't know better, I'd swear it's cat."

Oh, those are the cutest kitties!!! I'm hankering for another cat here lately. Been a lot of years since I lost my Tiger and I'm missing the snuggles.

Their names will come to you sooner or later. Gotta see what fits first.

Awwww Kittens! I love them, but as we have two doggie doors, I don't dare get a cat until I can keep them locked in the house. Streets are a dangerous place for kitty's around here. Anyway, not sure about the little gut that's black with white feet, but the little gray guy looks like and Oliver to me, LOL. Of course, you could name them Stan and Laurel. Being of the generation vintage that I am, I tend to lean toward things like that, *wink*. What ever you name them, they are just too cute. I'll bet your dogs will enjoy playing with them after the initial uncomfortable introductions. Soon they will be the best of friends!!! Hugs...

oops, I didn't proof read and my Scleroderma is really gnawing at me today so I'm having trouble making my fingers work...but it's supposed to say the "little "guy"...not 'gut'...sorry.

Ooooh...love the kitties. So far so good....when you have kittens, especially more than one, they are better to watch than TV!!

Oh, Susan, the kitties are so cute! I'm definitely, a dog person, but I know cute when I see it! I'm sure Sophie and Skipper will come around. Well, I think. I don't think my Peke Lilly would ever be happy with another anything in the house - she's boss here - LOL! And, I think Bo is a perfect name for the little boy kitty.

Nancy & I were generationally thinking alike. I came to your blog & thought, "Just LOOK at those cute lil' rascals! Hmmmm. The Little Rascals! The girly could be FURina, and the black male one could be Alfalfa. (Sorry, Jesse. I am WELL aware that you don't need my bizarre name ideas! LOL!) Whatever the names they get, I will STILL call them precious and adorable! Glad Ms. Sophie & Lil' Skipper are not (thus far) bothered by the fuzzy newcomers.

Hope the Peaceable Kingdom is still an apt name for the environment in your home! The kittens are too cute and I think the little girl might be Stormy and the little boy Knight!! Other famous couples ...
George and Gracie (married),
brother/sisters ... the Captain and Tennille, Donnie and Marie, or substances ... Chocolate and Mocha (or Latte)
Then again, think about what names you want to be calling out in your neighborhood!

Love the dollhouse block!

Am playing catch-up as yesterday was moving day. DS2 is across the state in a 3rd floor walk-up apartment with a friend as a flatmate. DS2 is my preemie with a mild form of CP that makes balance a challenge. I am so proud of his bravery in making this move. Do pray!

Hugs!

on my god they are so cute. I like the grey and black one. She is pretty. Skipper seems a little jealous that all the kitchens are getting attention.
