I must confess that I have fallen behind with my dollhouse blocks. I haven't done a thing on the sewing room yet. I have just been too busy with other things, mostly guild blocks of the month. I hope to get back to mine this month. Tomorrow will be the day to send out the new patterns. I forget which room is this time, maybe laundry room. I'm not sure. But watch for your pattern tomorrow if you're in the challenge.
Meantime, our Dollhouse Challenge member Laura has been hard at work and has produced two charming blocks. Here they are. As you can see, Laura has done some delightful ad libbing on her blocks.

"I used the cabinet from the kitchen for my Grannies Fiesta ware," writes Laura. "And being the KitchenAid Lady, of course I had to add her mixer."

Laura's inspiration for this block was her grandmother's sewing room. "What I remember most was her sewing and watch 'Jeopardy'," she says.
I just returned from a visit with Dr. B for my 6 month checkup on the old ticker. Had an ekg and got asked a bunch of questions. Dr. B. says the ticker is fine and dandy. He deemed me in tip-top shape, heartwise.
I told him about the crushing fatigue, but he didn't have any answers. He said he didn't think that had anything to do with my heart, because it was in such good shape. Well I didn't think so either. I just tell everybody in hopes that somebody will have an answer. But not Dr. B., obviously. He said it could be my thyroid. I told him that Dr. M. had just checked that about a month ago. So Dr. B. shrugged. Guess it must just be that dreaded Fibromonster. Wish he'd go on vacation.
I think a Sister Supper is scheduled for tonight at Joanne's house. If I'm going to make it, I have to go and rest up a bit. And I sure wouldn't want to miss a Sister Supper.

What cute blocks Laura made and I'm sure her dear Granny is delighted to see the charming rooms Laura re-created in fabric in her Grannie's honor!
Cheers that your ticker is in good condition!!! Hope nothing is wrong with you. That Fibromonster is enough for anyone to have to endure.
Please keep us in your prayers as tomorrow we take DS2 to his new apartment 4 hours away from home. Sigh! This week has nearly run me into the ground and I think I've been doing the last minute packing for more than 12 hours. I am past exhaustion. Had to pop in to see you, tho!
Hugs!

I'm sorry to her about your fatigue. Have you tried light therapy? That can be helpful. Bright incandescent lights can help restore energy by speeding up your metabolism. Reducing consumption of junk food should help too.
