I can't get going today. The doggies and I (three of them now) slept late, and I'm still in my pajamas. Daisy came last night. Lori's dad is very ill and she's in Florida with him. Prayers for Lori's family appreciated.
On Tuesday, after I picked up "Love Birds" at Mary's, I went on over to Cahaba Heights and visited the Leaf and Petal garden shop. Oh what beautiful plants and flowers they have!
I got the red petunia basket in the photo, already planted. I also got some zinnias and planted them in pots yesterday.

As you can see, my porch rails need painting. Joe (cleaning lady's husband) said he would sand and paint them for me if I will get the pain, and I will.

The knockouts are coming back from their mold attack.

I need badly to go to the grocery store, the drug store, get my hair cut, and call Dr. M. to renew my synthroid script. But do I want to do any of these things? NO!

Cheers that you got the lovely flowers planted and have such a perfect place for the basket of happy petunias! Beautiful flowers, one and all.
Our gazillion orange daylilies are about to burst into glorious bloom but as I do every year, I wish there were other colors mixes in. I need to leave myself a note on the December page of the calendar to remind myself of that.
I'll be sending some UFO progress photos today. I keep telling myself that every little bit helps.
Hope your spoon drawer refills quickly or you find a grocery store and drug store that deliver, a hair stylist who makes house calls, and a telepathic doctor who will get the psychic message to renew your Synthroid Rx!
Big hugs!

Your flowers are all gorgeous! Love the petunias in the chair. I am a huge fan of zinnias and knockout roses as well.
Hugs,
Donna

You made some good points there. I did a search on the topic and found most people will agree with your blog.
