Super Saturday

FlowersWhat a great day I had yesterday. First Andy came with flowers from her yard and cupcakes. (Can't show you a photo of the cupcakes; we ate them.)

After the cupcakes, I made us big mugs of vanilla-creamed coffee and we rented "Dream House" on PPV and watched it. Good, scary movie.

After the movie, Andy went home and Jesse and his cousin Joey came to see me. I hadn't seen Joey in quite a while. The three of us had a happy visit with lots of talking and laughing.

I can't believe how much better I'm feeling now. I believe that the afib attack had maybe been going on for a while and just wasn't bad enough for me to realize that the problem wasn't just the old fibromonster. The two days in bed have even improved the back pain considerably. Praise the Lord, huh?

It's very cold here, so I had planned to not go out to church this morning. I'm still tending to be pretty gentle with myself, not wanting to do anything to bring on another episode. But then I got a call that a dear member of the family has passed away. I'm sad, of course, but the heart is ok. So I guess it can take a shock pretty well.

Happy Sabbath to all. Take care.

Cheers that yesterday was such a good day and that you're feeling so much better! The flowers are lovely and what could add more happiness better than cupcakes?! Well done, Andy!

Okay, so visits from Jesse and Joey are right up there with cupcakes on the happiness scale!

Sympathy and hugs on the sad news you got this morning. There just is no good time to lose a beloved member of the family.

You're wise to be gentle with yourself after the week you had. I think you've hit the nail on the head to suspect your many days of feeling bad before Tuesday probably were caused by that sneaky A-fib before it made itself known. Stay cozy.

More hugs!

You have no idea how glad I am to hear you sounding better! I worry about you lots because I truly understand ongoing pain. Hopefully, the Fibromonster will take a LONG vacation after all the a-fib rigamarole! Enough is ENOUGH, huh? Andy, you are a DOLL! I don't s'pose you'd care to adopt a second mommy? And what good looking boys in your family! I've always thought Jesse is a cutie, and Joey is equally cute! I'm sorry to hear of your family member's passing. Try to continue being GOOD to yourself, and just snuggle up with the sweet doggies! LOVE YOU!!!
