UFO Progress Report: Week 47

Little Green Man Quilter LogoI'm still hand quilting the "Blackberry Creek" quilt. I have all the blocks done; just have to finish the sashing and quilt the border. Probably won't have it done before the end of the year--but maybe.

I've decided to extend the UFO Challenge through 2012. Although I made a big dent in my leftover projects, they are far from being all busted. Any of you who are in the same boat are welcome to continue in the challenge. And new people can join as well if they like. More about all this before January 1.

Thanks for all the anniversary congratulations. I appreciate all of you readers of my blog, whether or not you leave comments. I know you're there.

Below is Mr. Linky. All you Little Green Quilters, please post your links so we can come visit your blogs and see what you've been up to.

P.S. Please watch for another post in just a bit.

Well done on the hand quilting of the charming appliqued cottages and their settings that adorn your Blackberry Creek quilt. You know I hope to start my cottage blocks in January. Those fabrics are whispering to me from their box where they are bundled by month.

Cheers that you've decided to extend the UFO challenge into 2012!! I'm certainly one who has a multitude of UFOs remaining and will do better with the good company of those who continue or who join the challenge.

I'm making progress on Christmas projects, but not the one that would qualify as a UFO.

Hugs!

I linked up but don't have a new post. I am just sharing my Xmas Sampler UFO that I entered into the Christmas Quilt Show. I worked on it all month and now I'm sick of thinking about it :) I've still got some UFO's hanging around my list, so I'll be back next year too :) Have a great week!

Hi Susan, Congrats on being featured with my long time friend Beverly. Your feature is wonderful I have decided to join a quilt sewing club in January. I am inspired to get back to quilting. You honestly are my inspiration. I have a new Janome quilting sewing machine and it is now two years old and I don't even know how to thread it. Sigh! I will though!!! Keep your eye on me in January. Smile!I am loving the Blackberry Creek quilt so much.

Happy Pink Saturday.
Hugs, Jeanne

Hi Susan...I popped over to Pink Saturday to see your post. Great job guest posting over there! And sooo glad to hear that UFOs will continue in 2012. I'm excited with the progress made this year, but I know I need to continue into next year. Thanks for the incentive!
