Well, that does it. No more pie for me for a long long time. My body is telling me this morning just how bad I've been this month. I had been feeling unusually well until pie season hit. Now I'm walking around like a centenarian again.
Today I'm off to the grocery store, just after I clean out the refrigerator of bad food (bad as in not good for me, not bad as in gone over), and stock up on fresh veggies, fruit, and white meat chicken.
But before I go, I'd like to share with you some pinnies that I pinned on Pinterest this morning. I'm fairly new to Pinterest and don't have all the nuances of navigating it down yet, some of these might not be credited correctly. If not, I apologize to the pinees whose pins a have purloined.

And no, Big Sister, I haven't forgot your birthday. Happy, Happy Birthday to my sister Joanne, the best big sister a girl could ever have. She taught me to love books, to love learning, and to always be me.

That twister tree is really cool! I might have to make one of those. Your sister did a wonderful job teaching you what is important in life.

I hear you on the return to healthy foods! Me, too!
AMIL freezes pies in separate pieces so she can have one occasionally and not feel compelled to eat the whole pie before it goes bad. Perchance you'd want to freeze your leftover pie pieces, too?
Love the quilts!
Hope you feel better soon!
Hugs!

Oh, no, you're still dating. Joking, as my 3-year old grandson would say. God bless you, Susan. Have fun and keep on keeping on. You're a wonderful woman who deserves the best in life.
Don't know if you were able to view this, but it reminded me of Sophie and Skipper when they spent the night out dining...
