Merry Christmas from Mr. Boots

This is Andy's boy kitty, Mr. Boots. I went by to see them and their Christmas tree yesterday afternoon. The kitties weren't in the tree then. Andy took this photo later. When I was there, Boots and Ruby were playing on their new climbing/scratching tower. They love it. Ruby likes to get on top and leap off.

I haven't finished my decorating yet. Actually I spent most of yesterday making a banner for the mantel. Haven't finished that either.

It's cold here today, but the sun is out after several dreary rainy days. Yesterday was Vann's birthday, and I felt a little dreary and sad all day. But I know he's here with us all. I can feel his presence with me every day. I miss you, Boo.

Hi Susan -
An adorable picture of Mr. Boots. Cats are wonderful creatures.

I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of your decorating when you are finished. I have not begun mine and not sure if I will get time to. I'm always stuck behind this gosh-darn desk working. But I want you to know that your little blog posts are wonderful bright spots in my day, I look forward to reading them so much.

My heart is with you regarding missing your loved one. But I believe as you do that they are always with us. I miss my mama and daddy so much, especially at Christmas.

God Bless & take care. Can't wait to see a picture of that mantel banner your making.

Linda

Big hugs, my friend, as you miss your dear Vann. I do believe that those we love are often near-by even when we cannot see them. I've seen my Daddy twice since he died in 1983, both times in my peripheral vision, and he was visible for several minutes. He was there so clearly that I didn't want to blink lest he disappear.

Andy's little Boots is a cutie and what a perfect Christmas photo of him! We have a cat tree that needs new carpeting on the vertical post after the workout it's gotten in the last few years.

I'm eager to see your new mantle decoration, too, as well as your charming decorations.

Cold and sunny here after torrential rain and horrid wind last night.

Hugs!

I love cats...We have a 16 pound cat who is scared of everything! Mr. Boots is so cute.I know how sad and dreary you feel as I lost both my parents in the last few years.Time does help but special days and holidays are the hardest. Can't wait to see your x-mas decorations.I enjoy your blog so much. Have a great day!

Like the other ladies, I understand the sadness you feel. In my case, it's my sister I miss - especially at this time of year. And I SO agree that Vann IS with you - probably way more than you realize! I love Andy's kitty! What a perfect picture of that lil' stinkeroo peeking out from the Christmas tree! LOVE YOU, Susan! I don't say that just from habit, either. I MEAN it. Cuddle up with sweet Ms. Sophie & Lil' Skipper and enjoy your Christmas decorations!

I'll share my box of Godivas with you. Yesterday was my birthday too.

(BTW, is that a new photo of you? If so, WOWZERS!)
