Hall Decking: Part One

Xmas3

Well, the banner didn't work for the mantel. But I think it looks sweet here, between the living room and dining room.

I'm pretty sure I've done all the decorating I'm going to do. I have to remember that all this stuff will have to be put away when the holidays are over.

I'll start with this trees (I did two this year: one big, one little.

Xmas5
I decided to bring Bentley inside and sit him in my antique school desk beside the tree.

Xmas7
Our Vann is with us, thanks to sweet Falicia, who gave me this ornament two years ago.

Where's the Little Green Quilter's link up?!!!

Your home looks lovely. It is a lot of work to get everything out, just to put it away again a few weeks later. Each year my daughter pushes to get all the Christmas stuff out, even though I often don't feel like doing all the work. But when the house is all decorated, a festive Christmas spirit sets in and that makes it all worth it!

I am wondering what will happen when she goes off to college in a few years!

Love your cute banner and I'm sure it adds extra delight over the doorway!

Your trees, the lovely ornaments, the beautiful and the meaningful cardinals are each so special. I hope being surrounded by so many good memories and such beauty will bring you comfort and joy throughout the holidays.

No UFO progress for me but am slowing getting this tree skirt together. I think I can, I think I can! This year I may look for a "Little Engine that Could" ornament for myself!

Hugs!
