That's my "Autumn Winds" hanging in the middle of the clothesline.
It's much more difficult this year to get pictures at guild meetings. I'm stuck behind the back table for most of the meeting, accepting blocks and giving out next month's Block of the Month patterns. But during show-and-tell yesterday, I did manage to snap a few. Here they are.
Ruth Ann's charming monster quilt
Another local guild's opportunity quilt (I think)
Made for her husband's office
I don't remember who made this, but I do remember it's title: "Leaf Me Bee."
A Quilt of Valor for the new Pell City veterans home (hanging behind my dear friend Josephine D.)
Gerda and Gloria show their work
Craig (who has quilted almost all of our QOVs) and Peggy stand in front of one of the QOVs.
Elayne, a member who attends guild meetings all the way from Crossville, Tennessee, is one of the most talented long-arm quilters in the world. (She quilted "Bunnies in the Cabin" for me.) Elayne brought "Twisters" to me yesterday; and the quilting is just as awesome as I expected it to be. I hope you can tell from the photo.
Our guild speaker was Karen Kay Buckley, but I wasn't able to get a photo of her. I'm sure many of you are familiar with her gorgeous quilts. I haven't been able to bring up her website, but if you're interested, you could Google Karen Kay Buckley and maybe her site will be working then. Sorry.
