I sewed borders on this beautiful quilt top for my sister Ramey yesterday. She and my other sister Joanne pieced it. Ramey has been displaying the top at her book signings. If you haven't read Ramey's book Sweet Music on Moonlight Ridge, you've missed a wonderful story. The Drunkard's Path quilt figures into the story, and that's why Ramey made it. Today we are planning to baste it so it can be hand quilted. My back is arguing with these plans, but I'm trying the ignore the hateful old thing.

A perfect quilt for her book I am sure. Will have to check it out. I love visiting your blog and seeing all the different quilts and their patterns.

What a lovely and jubilant Drunkard's Path quilt! Well done to Ramey, Joanne, and to you, Susan, for the part each of you played in its creation.
I hope your back will play nicely as you get the quilt basted.
Glory be! The sun is shining for what seems to be the first time since Monday. Oh! What glorious autumn colors are glowing in the sunlight. I love autumn!
I'm about to press the muslin foundation fabric for my Harlequin Christmas Tree skirt. Next will be penciling the pattern lines with my heat transfer pencil and pressing the diamond shape on the muslin 6 times.
Hugs!

Thanks to Suze and Joanne for all the help getting this Drunkard's Path quilt together. I think this is the only quilt that all three of us have worked on together.
