I hope everyone is having a good day. I'm very, very busy getting everything done that I have to do before retreat next week. I got my Block of the Month kits created for October guild, which will be the Monday after we return from retreat--so I thought I best do them now.
I'm going to take the French General Snowball UFO to work on. Maybe my hexies too for some handwork. Now all I have to do is get all my equipment packed and everything into the car, and I'll be ready.
I haven't told the doggies yet of my plans. I think I'll just surprise them.
Guess what? Birdie has learned to use the doggie door all by herself. Between me and Skipper, we got her convinced that she won't be jumping into an alternate universe if she goes through on her own.
Have a good afternoon, everyone. Oh, and all you UFO Busters, don't forget that tomorrow is Progress Report Day--and I have some progress to report this week.

How great that you're so organized so you can enjoy the retreat guilt and worry free! Applause!
As long as the things you gather for the retreat aren't in anything that looks like a suitcase, your doggie kids won't likely suspect a thing. Once the suitcase is in sight, the jig will be up!

Have a relaxing and fun time at your retreat! I agree with the suggestion to not bring out anything resembling a suitcase until the very last possible minute! Hurray for Birdie learning to use the flap! Good dog! Good dog!
