I delivered "Autumn Winds" (new title) to be quilted yesterday. Lena, Angela (in photo), and I had a good visit and found a quilting design that's just right for the quilt. And I obviously forgot to photograph the quilting pattern, so you'll have to wait to see that until I get the quilt back. Lena said she would have it done in time for Halloween.
Lena and Angela, two of my favorite long-armers
I also worked on the French General Snowball quilt this week. I have a long way to go, however. It is made of 6" (finished size) blocks, and there are 99 of them, plus a pieced border.
Sandy Gail's Progress
You'll recall Sandy (she made the beautiful Sunbonnet Sue quilt early on in this bust) who doesn't have any UFOs because she tends to finish projects before starting more. I know that's odd for a quilter, but there you are. So we made her an honorary member of the UFO Bust. Anyway, Sandy sent us some photos of her most recently finished quilt, this adorable baby quilt.
Thanks for sharing with us, Sandy. You're beautiful work is always inspirational.
DON'T FORGET THAT THIS IS SMACKDOWN QUILT WEEKEND!!! If you don't know what I'm talking about, go HERE.
Now, all you UFO Busters, look below to find Mr. Linky and add you links. Even if you haven't progressed in busting, we're still interested in what you've been doing.

Applause for getting Autumn Pinwheel to Lena and Angela, sweet quilters that they are!
More applause for progress on the red/white Snowball quilt!
Oh, my goodness, Sandy's baby quilt and its label are utterly adorable and charming to the max. Abigail is one lucky and beloved baby!
It feels like the calm before the storm here as we batten down the hatches and secure anything that might fly in a high wind. It is oppressively humid, too. As my Grandma used to say, Do pray! Thanks!
Hugs!

"Autumn Winds" is certainly the perfect title for your lovely fall quilt. I can see those pin wheels turning in the wind already! Thankfully, Irene will be far away from you. Maybe it will send rain as far west as Alabama if you are in need of rain. Our fall rains here are usually the results of hurricanes brewing in the Gulf of Mexico.
I love the cheerful red quilt. Your work always is perfection!
Thanks for sharing the photo of my little baby quilt on your blog. You are truly. " A dear, sweet lady" Sandy Gail

Looking forward to seeing the quilted Autumn quilt. I know it will be beautiful. But so is your French General. Sandy's baby quilt is a real treasure!
I didn't do any UFO busting this week...haven't gotten my machine put back up from last week's company (I sew in the living room!). My goal is to just begin anew after the end of summer holidays!
My husband works for the power company here in VA but is being sent to Outer Banks this weekend to work the outages! He's packing tonight for a week away--it will probably take just that long! No fun here w/o him knowing what he'll be doing.
