We're halfway through our UFO Bust, but I'm sure not halfway through my long list of UFOs. I am pleased with the progress I've made, however, and plan to make lots more before the year is over. But I'll probably have some carryover. How about you?
I finished "Let Freedom Bark" and it now hangs on my front door to greet my family when they arrive for our Gordy Ramey Centennial Celebration on Sunday. My daddy, Gordy Ramey, was born on July 4, 1911. This would be his 100th birthday. He passed away in 1977. We're having dinner at my house on Sunday. On Monday, we're making a trip to the little country cemetery where Mama, Daddy, and many other family members are buried, across the mountain from my house.
To all Little Green Quilts: Below is Mr. Linky. Don't forget to post your link, whether or not you have progress to report, if you want to be entered in the Grab Bag Giveaway. Next Friday, you'll have a chance to enter the drawing again, then I'll draw for the grab bag on July 15.

How perfect is that little welcome banner?
Although I am sure if Skipper knew, he would not think the same. :-)

Great work Susan! Your blanket stitches are amazing. Mine don't look like that at all. It gives the dog such character! I've been working on my UFO's this month, and making pretty good progress! Thanks for the kick in the pants ;)
Happy Holidays!

Oh my gosh. I love that little doggie quilt. Are the blanket stitches by hand. If so, you are good. If not, you still are good. Happy 4th.

Your charming "Let Freedom Bark" looks so cute on your front door! How perfect for this holiday celebration.
Sorry I sent my UFO update in this morning but yesterday was so busy with more organization in the MBR since we rearranged the furniture Tuesday and got our new mattress set at 8:15a Wednesday.
I cannot imagine that I'll get thru my UFO list before year's end either but am also pleased with the progress I've made. I thank you for the gentle pushes and the encouragement!
Happy 4th!

I haven't finished any project in ages, but I love the doggie quilt and can't wait till Sunday to see it in person. Thanks for hosting Daddy's centennial.

Although the Sophie quilt was darling on its own, it looks absolutely fantastic on your door! Such wonderful work with all that applique and blanket stitch that I would never have the patience for. Great job! Happy Independence Day weekend. *sillysally*

I love that pattern! It could be Maisy with her summer cut (which she still needs to get.) Where did you get the pattern?

Hi Susan! You sure know how to spur us on! Wonderful banner on your RED door! Love it! I'll probably have some UFOs left at the end of the year, too. But I'll continue on until they're done!
