I don't have time to write a bunch this morning. I'm cooking for our family holiday celebration, which starts tomorrow with dinner at my house. The menu includes bbq beef and bbq pork, pintos with ham, cole slaw, dill pickles, chips, key lime pie, chocolate cupcakes, and two kinds of ice cream.
I also want to make a trip up to our silk flower lady and get a couple of arrangements to leave at the cemetery on Monday. I don't do that often. But since July 4 will be Daddy's 100th birthday, I thought I would get a pot from his and a pot for Mama's spots.

Have a wonderful 4th! Ozzie was going crazy last night with the kids in the new neighborhood shooting off firecrackers. Hope Sophie and Skipper don't get too nervous with the noise!
