Hello, Peeps. SuSu is trying to be mad at me, but I'm so sweet that she isn't having much luck with that.
She got mad yesterday when she took me and my big sister Sophie outside and I slipped the leash and ran down the street chasing that wonderful cat scent that I always detect when she takes us out. She got all hot and sweaty chasing me, which was completely unnecessary. I would have probably come back when I caught the cat that makes that scent. But she doesn't trust me. It's all her fault, and I refuse to take the blame for her not being able to get her hair dry for the rest of the day.
SuSu said to tell you to not forget that tomorrow is UFO Progress Report Day, whatever that is. She says you should sign in with Mr. Linky (WHO?) tomorrow for your second chance to win the Grab Bag Giveaway (WHAT?). She says to remind you that next week, July 15, will be the day she'll draw for a winner.
I hope you know what all that gibberish means. I don't. Now I'm going to take a nap so I'll be rested up and able to chase that cat scent in case I get the chance today.

Skipper...what did you do? Stick to digging to China! It gets you in far less trouble than taking off after a silly cat!! ...and it's much safer, trust me!

Oh, sweet Skipper! Please remember that you have a loving home, an amazing variety of comfy beds, regular meals, an endless water supply, lots of hugs, and so much petting that your coat is shiny. All Susu asks is that you walk with her and not run away and that you not dig in the flower beds or under the fence. Small price to pay for living in the lap of luxury, eh? Please give it a try, okay?

Our Stubby was the same way, only my husband calls it a walkabout. I finally had to buy a harness to keep him in it. But he looked alot like Skipper.

Susan. your Skipper tales are very cute. You sound a bit like Ami Sims and her dog Madison, who died recently, and now her new dog , whose name I have forgotten. Since she is a well known quilter, you would enjoy her stories if you haven't read them. Keep chasing dogs and making lovely quilts and telling us about your excursions.
