Quick Post

China2

I have limited access to the internet for a couple of days, so don't be alarmed if I don't post for a day or two. I'll be back, for sure before our UFO Progress Update day on Friday.

Stay cool, everyone. I don't seem to be able to.

That is very cute. I love the way you set it up. Love the colors too.
I hope you can stay cool. It is starting to get hot here. I am trying to do things before the heat. We don't have air conditioning because we only get a few weeks a year of the really hot weather. I do feel for you though because I can barely stand it for those few weeks.

This cupboard looks so lovely- lots of pretty things to look at and admire.
Hope you are well these days and staying cool in the summer weather.
Warmest regards,
Anna

Susan, the cabinet looks so pretty. I love the plates with the flag on them.

Stay cool!

I'm delighted to see your wonderful corner cabinet at last and find it charming. You've certainly put many 4th of July pretties in it along with those sweet Hummel figures! Those flag plates are too cute! I've always wanted a corner cabinet ... but I have nowhere to put one.

Is your basement any cooler than the rest of your home? In the lower level of a tri-level house where I grew up, that basement with grade-level windows was the coolest room in the house during the summer. If it's cooler, perhaps you need a summertime den/bedroom/sewing room there? My mother did that in her basement den.

Hope you can dress in cotton and sip tea, lemonade, and/or lemon water while you do nearly nothing other than be cool.

Hugs!

Love the cupboard! Are some of those figurines Hummels? I never bought any Hummels the whole 10 years I lived in Germany-didn't get a cuckoo clock either! Hope all is well with you.
Hugs...
