I've been promising a giveaway for members of our Little Green Quilters UFO Busting group, and here it is! If you are not a member of the challenge group, please read to the end of this post for something of interest to you.
The above photo shows but some of the goodies that the winner will receive. The bag will hold more. (After all, a grab bag should hold some surprises, don't you think?)
Here are the rules:
1. To sign up for this giveaway, you must be a member of the Little Green Quilters/UFO Bust Challenge. In other words, your name must appear in the list of names in my right sidebar under the "Little Green Quilters" logo. You must also have participated at least once since the beginning of the challenge. That is, your link should have appeared in Mr. Linky at least once since the beginning of the challenge until now. (For blogless busters, your must have emailed me your progress report at least once.)
2. For the next two Fridays, post your link in the Mr. Linky that will be displayed in my UFO Update post. You don't have to have made progress, but you must link. In your linked blog post, whether or not you have progress to show, you must post the Little Green Quilter logo button. (Blogless busters should send me a email asking to be entered in the giveaway.)
3. The drawing will take place on Friday, July 15.
Note to Non-Busters
I know that the majority of my blog readers are not members of the Little Green Quilters group, and I don't want to leave you out. So watch for another giveaway announcement after this one is completed. Everyone will be eligible to enter, not just busters.
Blog Backup
Thanks to some of your tips, I found that Typepad does offer a backup application, and I was able to backup the text of my blog onto my computer. I'm not sure that this is a foolproof method of protecting one's blog. Mary Lou says that she also had her Blogger blog backed up but that Blogger was able to do something that prevented her from accessing any of her information. I do feel a little better now though. I couldn't back up photos of formatting, but at least I have the words somewhat protected. Thanks for all your comments.
