It's Pink Saturday again over at Beverly's "How Sweet the Sound" blog. So I decided to pick up my camera and walk around my sewing room (which is a total wreck, as usual) and snap some pinks.
I made this Card Trick quilt some time in the 80s. It's featured (this very one) in the Oxmoor House book Quilts for All Seasons by me and Patricia Wilens.
This is a block from my pink quilt that Sharon and friends made to comfort me after Vann passed away. I love all the blocks.

Hope your weather is better than ours. Strong storms are all around after a lovely morning of gentle rain.
We have a guest coming for a brief visit either Monday or Tuesday and he'll stay until Thursday morning. To my frustration, I'm sick with sore throat, aching, and fever when I need to be cleaning. Phooey!

Susan, I recognize some of those pink fabrics both in my old and new fabrics- funny how they appear in other people's collections too. I am a big fan of pink- I find it a very soothing color to be around.
