I guess they do come in threes. A dear friend and uncle by marriage, Chester H., passed away yesterday. This good man was indispensable to the operation of our church, and has been for decades. I have no idea how we'll go on, but we will. Chester was the brother-in-law of Aunt Edna, who was buried last week. He leaves a dear wife, Evelyn; three daughters, Beth, Barbara, and Brenda; lots of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and scores of friends.
The fibro pain came on with a vengeance yesterday. I didn't sleep well last night. My hands are very stiff and painful, so I don't expect much sewing to be done today. Storms are on their way, so that could be the reason for the flare.
Landscaper is supposed to come today to talk about what to do about the front of the house where Jesse chopped down the hollies.
Remember that tomorrow is UFO Progress Report Day. Look for Mr. Linky in the morning.

Deep sympathy to you, sweet friend. You were fortunate to have such lovely people as Aunt Edna, Uncle Chester, and Gene in your life for so many years. There will always be wonderful memory-filled places in your heart for these dear folks. I'd bring a casserole if I could.
Hope you feel better soon, too. These days, my joints talk to me, too, when storms are coming.
Perhaps I'll have those borders on my UFO if the update is tomorrow!
Hugs!

Oh Susan, I'm so sorry to hear of another loss. Let's hope that they do come in threes and just threes and that this is an end to it for you. I imagine that stormy weather will cause a fibro flare up - you take care of yourself and do something nice for yourself to lift your spirits.
Take care my dear - thinking of you from over the sea,
helen
