I've been good so far this year (the whole entire 35 days of it) and haven't bought any fabric. But I did bend to temptation the other day when I saw this pretty pink print Fiskars rotary cutter. I've had the same old school-bus yellow Olfa cutter for about 20 year now--the only rotary cutter I've ever had. I figured it was ok to spring for a new one. It's so much fun to cut with this girl. Just makes everything seem more fun when you have pretty tools, huh?

I know what that is as my niece Suzanne uses one for her fabrics. I have never used on as I do not sew. I do believe one like this would make the cutting nicer.

I agree - pretty rotary cutter. I think it is time for a new one as well. And with all the snow we have had, and more on the way, maybe a new cutter will bring a hint of spring into the sewing room - even if it is going to be a LONG time before we see spring in the back yard. (I don't care what the ground hog said!)

What a beautiful pink share. I love that Fiskars is really getting into the world with color, other than their old gold. I had a pair of Fiskar scissors that were the old color, but when they came out with the PINK, oh my I not only bought new scissors, but also bought new pinkers, both in that Fuscia PINK color. I love them.
Now I haven't seen the new rotary cutter, so I will have to check out JoAnns and see if I can find one as well. Love the color. Yes, you were deserving of a new cutter.

Well, lookee what a cute rotary cutter you found! I'm using my 2nd cutter, an Olfa with a blade that automatically retracts when you release the handle. Efficient, but not so cute.
We've had a drizzly, gloomy, chilly day but it's bright and cozy in my little sewing room.
