I got the tree up and decorated, but I'm not ready for show-and-tell yet. Somehow in the process, I managed to destroy the rest of the house. So today I'm going to get everything put back together, then I'll take pictures.
I admit that I did take frequent rest stops while getting the tree decorated. Sophie and Skipper stuck with me, and only one ornament got broken in the process. Andy was here by then and cleaned up the glass for me.
My newfound and reduced-pain stamina seems to be holding up. I'm still feeling pretty good. If I can get through today's work, I think I'll take tomorrow off and read or watch a movie. No need to press my luck.
I'm linking to Sue's blog so everyone can enjoy some Rednesday fun if you like. I especially love red this time of year. Don't you?

I am so glad that BOTH of us got our tree up and decorated. With all the discomfort we should be very proud of ourselves, don't you think. It can be such an overwhelming task. But isn't it wonderful to be able to enjoy the tree every morning when we first turn the lights on? You are amazing with everything that you get done. It's it that "one foot in front of the other" thing? Blessings.

I almost missed this post, so will be applauding your accomplishment after you're in dreamland, I suppose. Applause, applause!! I'm so happy for all you've gotten done! You do deserve to take tomorrow off, to relax, to read, and look around at your festive, pretty surroundings with sheer delight!
Crank up one of Mannheim Steamroller's Christmas CDs and enjoy the day!
Hugs!
