A Fine October Morn

  2007-07-02_brewfinal

Eye of newt, and toe of frog,
Wool of bat, and tongue of dog,
Adder's fork, and blind-worm's sting,
Lizard's leg, and owlet's wing,
For a charm of powerful trouble,
...Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.
~William Shakespeare (or somebody)

It's cloudy and windy here this morning. Brown leaves are blowing down the street and flying through the air. The dogs keep barking. Halloween is in the air. Don't you just love it?

I didn't get a thing done yesterday that I had planned to do. Best laid plans, huh? Today will be different, though. I hope.

So bye now. Let's see if I can accomplish a thing or two.

P.S. Skipper and Sophie say that line about "tongue of dog" in the McBeth quote offends them. So I'm thinking of changing it to "tusk of hog." Sorry Mr. Shakespeare (or whoever). Can't upset the doggies.

Great Halloween picture and quotation! I always did like that part of McBeth! Your change to the words is quite appropriate, considering Sophie's and Skipper's feelings!

Nothing much accomplished yesterday in my sewing plans either. I did write out plans and measurements so AMIL can cut and sew her two Christmas blocks for the centers of her two planned table runners. Does that count?

Enjoy your day! Hugs!

However, your post put me more in an Autumn mood. THANK YOU! I like the changes to McBeth's quote! And I actually finished not one but TWO projects today! YAY!!!!! What a shock considering they've been sitting out WAITING for me to finish them forever!

Definitely can't upset the doggies. Seems like I spend the bulk of my time trying not to upset my two!
