Sick Woman Down

QuiltIt's a good thing I preposted Friday's and Saturday's blog entries or I probably wouldn't have got them done. I've been in bed or on the couch all weekend with a terrible cold. I remember about this time last year I had swine flu or bird flu or one of those beastly flus. But I don't think this is flu since I don't seem to have had any fever. All the other symptoms are present though--especially coughing and nose-blowing and all that stuff one doesn't talk about in mixed company.

Andy came yesterday and stocked me up on meds, juice, chicken noodle soup, and even chocolate ice cream. So I'm good to stay in at least for today.

I hope after today I'll begin to feel better--much better. This week must be devoted to getting my house ready to host my quilting bee next Monday. Another day or two is all I can afford to devote to being sick. Sorry, crud. You're just going to have to move on down the road and leave me alone now.

Hope you're soon feeling better. Lots of colds etc. around in Canada too, I had one but luckily it didn't hang on too long. It seems the germs are out as soon as school starts back.
Cuddle up with the doggies and get well.

Aww! So sorry Susan! Thank you for your visit and comments! I will send the Get Well Fairy to light softly on your home and make you well! Hubby got a flu shot last Thursday and has slight symptoms today but no fever. Just what he needed though, another problem. Hugs, Kerrie

Well bless your heart, nose, throat, lungs, and other parts, honey! Cheers that Andy has you stocked up on the sicko necessities, including the very therapeutic chicken soup.

As others have said, rest, and enjoy the required down time with good music or movies and doze off as you need to.

I lost my voice Friday but it was back to normal first thing Saturday. Go figure. I still have the sniffles and am disgustingly tired.

Rain today! Thanks be to God!

Get well hugs!

Knock on wood, I don't seem to get colds. If I had one, I didn't know it. I get sinus problems occasionally. Migraines. But somehow I steer clear of colds. Feel better soon. Criminal Minds is on Wednesday night!
