Dog Totem

Skipper Come Lately
And I must relate this before I forget. All weekend, I had a guy here pressure washing The Yellow House. And, of course, there has been a deal of bumping, clanking, and other noises going on outside, associated with the wash. Each time there's a tiny sound (or a big sound), which is about every five minutes, all three dogs go into paroxysms of barking, yapping, and, in Skipper's case, squealing. (I don't think I ever knew another dog who could squeal.)
In the midst of one of these barkfests, the phone rang. I answered it to hear a voice tell me: "This is a 2010 survey. Do you have small dogs in your house?"
I have no idea what a 2010 survey is, and I got so tickled that I couldn't even reply to the surveyor's first dumb question. So I hung up.
Do I have small dogs in my house, indeed.

Maybe the caller was REALLY that unpleasant neighbor guy who doesn't like noise (including birdsong & I'm guessing doggy-barking!) LOL! All 3 dogs look so totally content & cute! And how does the newly pressure-washed Yellow House look? Bet it's gorgeous!

They really look like they get along great! I guess with all that barking there is no way anyone is going to break into your house!!

Love the photos and I see who has the top-of-the-heap spot!! Queen Sophie, indeed!
As for the survey-taker, could that be a bigger "DUH?" for that question considering the three dog hubbub in the background?
How has the tenant next door been behaving of late?
How is the corner cabinet working out?
Hugs!

Great pics Susan. Easy to see that Sophie is still top dog at the Yellow House.

You always seem to make me laugh! Love dog pics and hearing about their antics. Abi goes into such a high-pitched feverish bark it is just about a squeal. I'd love to hear that dog squeal. Does it sound like a pig?

Love the dog totem. That's funny about the survey. You should have just had them listen to the barking!

Your doggies are so cute and I know exactly what you went through with the noise thing. I have to BIG dogs that do the same thing when workers are around.
If the person making that survey call only knew :)

Three adorable doggies for sure! Also, I love the upholstery - great pattern. Hope you are having a more peaceful day with the pressure washing finished.

Great doggie pictures! On another note: the hospice where my mother was continued to send notes and their newsletter for the longest time, and they were most welcome. We do have so many blessings! Thanks for letting us come to the Yellow House!
