Thanks for the suggestions on how to get the quilt guild photos off my cell phone and onto my blog. I know I have texting on my phone because I get messages from AT&T all the time. I think I once got one from Amy too. But I have never texted (is that a word?) and don't know how to begin. However, I'm pretty good at figuring things out (some things), so I promise to get right on it and see if I can learn.
Meanwhile, go over to Penny's Comfort of Home and check out a great new giveaway. I plan to win my own self, but you can enter too just to make things interesting. And what I plan to choose when I win is the lamp in the photo above. Wouldn't that look great just about anywhere in The Yellow House? Are there any teenagers nearby? If you can get one to look at your phone for about one minute, you'll find out about texting! My DH is always handing his phone to our DD to "fix".
My phone has a photo gallery. Under options, I can send the photo to my email address. No texting required other than filling out the space for my email addy. Once I do that, I open my email on the computer and save the photo to My Pictures file. Good luck with that, and also in the lamp drawing.

Take care about the text charges - if you have a "text plan" you should be able to text a certain number for a flat monthly fee. If you go over, there are additional charges. I kept going over mine so increased the number; of course, the charge increased, but it about evened out what I was paying for overage.
