LOOK WHAT THE MAILMAN BROUGHT ME YESTERDAY!!!!
WHITE RABBIT

Kathryn Polllnac
Isn't he wonderful? His creator is my friend Kathryn Pollnac. In addition to her fanciful paintings and dolls, she creates beautiful jewelry from native east coast materials. She sells them on her Etsy site. I strongly recommend you check her out.
Speaking of books, I'll be attending the July meeting of my book club this afternoon. We're discussing Noah's Wife, a book by T.K. Thorne. And Ms. Thorne will be our special guest. I'm very excited about meeting her, and very embarrassed that I haven't read her book yet. But I'll get a copy (signed copy) from her at the meeting and read it right away.
I'm still working to put all the finishing touches on the GYHEM (Great Yellow House Extreme Makeover). The guest room is finished except for window treatment. The only room that hasn't been touched is the sewing room. I'm hoping to get busy in there soon. I'm really anxious to get back to sewing in a serious way. I'm planning to instigate Fabric Friday and devote Fridays to sewing, quilting, creating in my favorite medium. I might even make it a blog party and encourage participation from the fabric-loving blog friends. I'm giving it some thought.
Bye for now.

Hi,
I don't mean to open a can of worms but I just wondered what your views are on "gay" marriage?
Do you think it should be legal?

Hello Susan,
I love the idea of Fabric Fridays - I had been thinking of doing something along those lines myself! So count me in when you get started!! And we still need to make a start on our transatlantic chicken quilt!!

Good morning, Susan! Hope you're neck of the woods is cooler than it is here in sweltering VA.
The White Rabbit is too cute! He brings to mind his song, "I'm late, I'm late, for a very important date. Not time to say Hello, good-bye, I'm late, I'm late, I'm late ...."! The necklace is charming, too.
I'll join your Fabric Friday group, too!
Dearie me, now I have a new ETSY shop to bookmark and two new authors to check out. Where is the time for all if these wonderful options??
For my 2 cents, where there is love, it's no one else's business. Under the law, all should be equal and impartial. Who ever thinks gay marriage is wrong, shouldn't do it.
Hugs!

I've been asked, so here goes: I believe marriage is nobody's business but the people getting married. The government has no business telling me who I can marry. Up until just a few years ago, marriage between a black person and a white person was illegal. How stupid is that? So yes, I support gay marriage. I support gay people having all the rights and privileges that straight people have.

I know just what you mean. I'll plan on getting such and such done, and days go by and still I haven't done a thing. Life gets in the way (thank goodness!) and I may have to start scheduling things myself if I ever want to accomplish anything.

Great piece! I love that little birdbath, too. My brother-in-law has some of those and I love them. I don't know where you get all this cute stuff!
