Miss Viagra Price Visits Blackberry Creek

Mean-old-lady And she even left a comment. She left it on my "Kiss Me, I'm Irish..." post. Here it is in case you missed it and don't want to click back to the comments:

"Oh really? If you're so hot for publicity why don't you invite all those scientists you interviewed to a screening of the film with a press conference afterwards so they can tell the media what they thought of how you used their footage?"

I can't recall that I've ever known Miss Viagra, although hers does sound like a fine old southern name, and I have no clue what her comment means. I'm not seeking publicity, and I haven't interviewed any scientists, at least not lately. And I certainly haven't made any films.

So either Miss Viagra has the wrong Blackberry Creek or I've been spammed again. I don't have a big problem with spam, but I do get them from time to time. I just report them and go on about my business. But this one was just so interesting that I had to share.

So smile, Miss Viagra. You're on Blackberry Creek!

SL Cover

Speaking of fine old southern things, just look here at the cover of the recently Southern Living magazine that I pulled out of my mailbox yesterday. Hydrangeas! And inside I found an article with more beautiful hydrangea photos. The one below looks a lot like I would love for my garden to look someday. I guess I best get to planting more hydrangeas, huh?

SL Hydrangea 1

Fran from Dr. M's office just called to tell me that the tests on all my blood work came back fine. So I guess the good doctor had it right and my problems are a combination of fibro, seasonal affective disorder, and lingering grief. (And now we must add allergies to that list as well.) I was really hoping for something that has a cure, but there you are.

Diane is due to show up any minute in her doggie-grooming van. Sophie has an appointment this morning. Sophie and I are scheduled to walk as grand marshals in the Barks for Life walk tomorrow morning in the nearby hamlet of Moody, Alabama. Our vet, Dr. Rachel, invited us. Since it's to raise money for the American Cancer Society, we were all too happy to accept. We're walking in memory of Sophie's pop pop, my husband Vann.

Hydrangeas_2

This bouquet of hydrangeas is for another dear southern lady (much nicer than Miss Viagra). Mrs. Willie Henry Price taught for many years at the elementary school that I attended. She was never my teacher, but she taught many of my friends, and she is a member of my church. Mrs. Price is now very ill and under hospice care--and deep in my thoughts and prayers.

Oh fraptious day!!! My pink office chair just arrived. I have to go now and open it up and see if I can assemble the thing. Photos at eleven--or whenever I get them produced.

Oh my gosh, I had a comment that made no sense whatsoever from Miss Viagra too! I reported it as spam and deleted it. Something about what were those shoes that matched the dress. Huh?

Miss Viagra Price hasn't visited any of my blogs (knock wood) ... most of my unexpected visitors speak languages I don't understand, though their links make their intent obvious ;-)

i think they do that to get you thinking and then to head to their page to see who they are lol.. I have been thinking about flowers lately.. wanting to plant some Rose of Sharon bushes like my grandma had.. but I tell you what those hydrangea pictures having me thinking I might like some of those too!!

The comment was most puzzling. Glad you didn't fret about it.

I love hydrangeas but none seem willing to grow here. Sigh!

Glad your labs are all within normal limits! That's always a plus.

May your Mrs. Price feel the love folks have for her and be comfortable in these final days. Those lovely flowers are bound to lift her spirits. She will leave a enduring legacy of little lives enriched by her lessons. She's in my prayers.

Happy Pink Chair assembling! May the Force be with you!

Hugs!

Oh, goody. Another NUTCASE spammer to anticipate! I've had LOTS of Asian writing with a message in English at the bottom. A BUNCH of people wanting to SAVE me! (Wasn't aware I needed rescuing.) And a couple slamming me for my lack of faith in Allah. (WHAT?) But thus far, no Miss Viagra. I had to reactivate comment moderation on my blog because I was sick of it! Don't these folks have anything BETTER to do? I do believe I should invite them ALL to take an online crochet class so they'll have something more productive to do with their hands. Grand Marshals? Wow! You & Miss Sophie are CELEBS! I'm going to need your autographs. LOL! And we have yet another thing in common - Southern Living Magazine. I could look at those FOREVER! Now - I'll let you go get Miss Sophie all pretty & then put your new chair together so we can all admire it! And, Miss Viagra, YOU may NOT sit in it!

So funny, Miss Viagra paid me a visit too! And she did get a rise out of me!!:):):)...............couldn't resist! But, I deflated her with the delete!

On the health subject I am sure you are doing holistic remedies?

And I would expect you still to be in mourning, Susan. The Victorians took thee years with it. Be gentle with yourself and know you are loved in at least one shack. Mine.

I bet Sophie smells fresh as a spring violet by now....have a lovely weekend....try something new this weekend. It helps.

love, kelee

poo poo on Miss Viagra and her sour puss...

I was sitting on the front porch sipping a wonderful cocktail with Andrew and think I've decided to outline our side yard with hydrangeas...funny how great minds think alike.
