My office walls are now a beautiful shade of sage green--and I can hardly move. I'm glad I did it, but I don't think I'll do it again. I will hire someone to paint the rest of the house.
Anyway, all I have to do now is arrange the furniture, put the books back on the shelves, hang pictures, and straighten up everything, and I'll have a brand new office/study/computer room.
As you might have discerned, two days of resting my back made a lot of difference. I felt good enough this morning to tackle the painting job. Right now, I'm sore all over from the painting, including my back, legs, arms, neck, and even feet. I had a nice long soak in a hot bath, and I'm hoping that and a good night's rest will take care of the soreness.
As soon as the room is all put back together, I'll post photos.
I haven't decided what my next project will be in my extreme home makeover. My sewing room needs organizing badly. And I would like to get someone working on painting the living room, dining room, kitchen, master bedroom. foyer, and stairwell. I've picked my color family for those rooms. It will be a nice warm beige/tan. Something like the color swatches below.
I hope everyone is having a great weekend. Spring was in the air around here today. Sunny and windy with temps around 70 degrees. Storms are moving in tonight, but that's just part of springtime in Alabama.

I love sage green. My hubby hates it so I will not be painting that color...I envy you.
Love the choices of tan beige, use them both.
I feel your pain, it is hard on the body to paint!
Can't wait to see the finished room!!
Get some rest and have a great Sunday
Hugs

Lovely Susan - one of my favorites that shade of green. Glad you were able to freshen up and think it will all be so nice when done. Rest up and enjoy Spring - we're going to have some rain again up here in the North also.

Good for you! Painting is hard enough what with the stretching, bending; but the moving and getting ready to paint is such a chore! We won't be painting again for a long time, and like you, probably will hire someone to do it. Hope your soreness is soon gone. I love the sage green, BTW.

Hi! I wondered what kept you busy yesterday and now I know. Count me in with those who love sage green. I'd be interested in hearing what paint company and what the sage paint's name and/or number is.
Hope you're feeling lots better. Be sure to look into your new office/study/computer room often today and in the coming days and smile at your wonderful accomplishment!!
Hugs!
