Miss Daisy is freaking me out. She's lying here on the sofa beside me watching something back and forth across the room--except there's nothing there. It's like she's watching a very slow tennis match.
Now she's sort of wobbling and shaking. Whoa, Dai Dai. What's up girl? OK, I started talking to her and rubbing her and she stretched out and stopped acting weird. She's enjoying the sunshine coming through the blinds again. That was weird, girl.
Daisy is staying with us this weekend while Lori and Greg are in Arkansas at a family thing. And while Sophie isn't happy because some of the attention is off her, I love having Daisy here. She's the sweetest little doggie I know. She adopted Lori when Lori went to the shelter to pick out a pet.
Suffering succotash! I think this unusually cold weather is making a near-invalid out of me. My whole body hurts, really really hurts, and I'm so stiff and tired I can't get anything much done. Haven't even been able to take the dogs for a good walk. It's just go outside, get 'er done, and come back in. Looking forward to springtime. Till then, I think I'm going back to bed.
But first, let me thank everyone who took part in our first Silly Saturday--either by posting silliness of by visiting the blogs that did. We'll do it again next Saturday, but this time, try to send me your links by Friday morning if you plan to play. Then create your post late Friday and set it to post on Saturday morning, or create it early Saturday morning. Does that make sense? I can't tell.

I did a double take at reading "Miss Daisy" as that was our beloved and dearly departed Basset Hound's name. She was a lost dog that we adopted when she was 5,6, or 7 (the vet guessed) and we had her for 13 years.
Your visiting Miss Daisy is a cutie of more petite proportions!
So sorry the weather is making you miserable. I see a flannel quilt in your future to help you be more cozy during winters to come. Would some hot tea and Advil help?
Hugs!

Thanks Susan. It was a lot of fun doing Silly Saturday. I will have to look for some more funny things. We've been miserable too here in Central Florida. It went down to 27 degrees last night, and let me tell you, our house is very old and has lots of leaky windows. So it was not very warm. I will be so glad when it warms up again.

Hi Susan....
Miss Daisy sounds like she can see things we can't. Hope your aches and pains ease up. It is very cold here too.
Hugs,
Penny

Maybe she is part cat! Cats to that a lot. It is like they see something that we don't. Maybe it was an angel!
Stay warm
Hugs
