Don't anybody get whacked out if you don't catch me blogging this weekend. I'm having one of those big-time bad fibro flares. Could be the weather, or the stress of trying to get all this clutter out of my house which mostly belongs to Vann. I don't know the cause, I just know the results. Didn't sleep much last night, the pain was so bad. Had to take Sophie out in the cold at second light and it felt like my body was on fire, although I had bundled up.
I'm wishing I had waited till spring to start the declutter process. My house is all full of boxes and stacks of sorted stuff, and I just hate it. And now it hurts to lift a coffee cup.
Oh well, enough complaining. That's not helping anything. I went to my book club's Christmas gathering yesterday. I took pecan brownies. When the party was over, everyone divvied up the leftover brownies; I didn't even have a crumb to bring home. So those were a success.
I don't know about the rum cake. It looked good and smelled heavenly while it was baking. But I had to leave the neighborhood party before dessert. The pain and tireness were so bad. And then Paul gave his prayer and there was a long part in it about Vann and me. And then Bob, who was standing beside me, teared up. So guess who started crying (ME!). And I decided the best place for me was back home in my pajamas with Miss Sophie snuggled up beside me. And that's where I might be for most of this cold, grey day as well.

Prayers for you today dear Susan. May the peace and love of Christ our Savior shower you through your friends and love ones.

Bless your heart and other parts, dear friend. Fibro acts ugly and mean at the most inconvenient times - as if there's ever a good time - and mix in loving sympathy in a prayer and all is lost. Sniffle, sniff, sniff.
Are there any able-bodied friends who could move those boxes to your garage until the holidays are over or the weather warms up or when you feel better? Having them out of the way might be a bit medicinal. As I get older, clutter makes me nuts. If you could see my house, you'd know I'm nuts most of the time. Sigh!
Be good to you and stay cozy. Gentle hugs!

The fibro monster has also taken up residence at my house and I know it is the weather we have been having lately. I'm going to be in that tub of hot water and epsom salts within the hour and see if that helps because it was a misery last night. Sorry that monster is at your house as well.
Is Maria back? The last e-mail said she was helping her other son. My prayers are with them daily.
Prayers are for comfort and a sense of humor because we need both despartely. As in yesterday!

Hey: I feel for you. Those fibro flares really can be horrible. I know; I've got it too. I've been following the guaifenisen protocol, which has been helping over time. Hang in there! Check it out here:
http://www.fibromyalgiatreatment.com/ if you haven't already. I don't work for them; I just know it's been reserving my fibro!

I hope that you have a good book and can just keep quiet. I know how much clutter can just make me feel like I'm going out of my mind.

Hey, little Susie - I'm so sorry you're hurting. I keep writing a lot of stuff and then erasing it, because I know it doesn't help your pain. I share your grief, because Vann was always good to me and everyone, and I miss him, too. Wish I could--I'm not lying--I wish I could take some of your pain as well. If you agree, I could come over tomorrow and move all the boxes and stacks from your first floor to the basement. You could lie on the couch and tell me where to put things, and maybe getting the main floor cleaned up would help your state of mind a little. I'm good at moving stuff--I move furniture all the time. I'm strong in my arms! LOL
I love you - Sister Una

I'm sorry that you are having a "hurtin' time" Warm pjs, a cozy home and a sweet dog sound like a great remedy!
Thinking of you,

I just hated to hear that you're feeling so bad Susan! It sounds like it's terribly miserable and I'm so very sorry. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers and I'm wishing you a brighter healthier tomorrow! Oh and I wanted you to know that your "monsters" below are absolutely adorable :) I hope you feel like working on them tomorrow :)

I am relating strongly because the Fibro has decided to take up residence here, too this week. But I think jammies and a warm doggie are just the ticket! Rest, listen to your body, and close your eyes to the boxes. Like others, I WILL go and help you if you say the word. I can get there via Trailways in a day or two! And I'm big & clunky, but a HARD worker so let me know because I really will be happy to assist! I LOVE YOU!

I am sorry you aren't feeling well, Susan. I will say a prayer that the Lord not only help you feel better physically but that you feel that your clutter will get taken care of. Don't stress. I hope you get feeling better.

Sure hope you're feeling better soon. Soft jammies and afghans - and cuddly pooches - do wonders, huh? You are an encouragement to me; times I feel as if I can't lift another finger, and I just keep on going. There are times, though, when we have to submit to the recliner. God bless you.

Clutter stresses me out, too, and it's hard for me to be on my feet long enough to clean up. I understand how you must feel. Just take it slowly.
