Four Bunnies to Go

BUNNY Until this fall, I had not had a cold or the flu for years and years. I had allergies and sinus infections and bronchitis and nearly pneumonia, but no plain old colds or flu. Now this fall I've already had both. So I'm dosed up with Sudafed and Ibuprofen and drinking plenty of liquids trying to get the cold to go away.

I got the pink bunny block finished yesterday and the seventh bunny block cut out and ready to baste. Getting near the end of bunny blocks. The rest of the quilt will be log cabin blocks.

I also got all of my bias squares sewn for the snowball challenge. But I still have a long way to go on that quilt. I found a backing for it though, in my sewing room closet. A piece of fabric that I bought years ago and forgot about. Its colors are just right. I'll show the fabric later, don't have a photo right now.

369530396_32974f5c9c Harken back to my red shoe post of a few days ago. I now have a copy of the photo of my niece in her prom outfit, complete with her red shoes. As you can see, they show no ill effects of their brief sojourn in the toilet, thanks to whatever Buffy and I did to save them.

I hope everyone is looking forward to a good weekend. I also hope my supply of Kleenex holds out because I don't feel like going out to buy more.

A good 'ol fashioned cold is the worse and I sure hope it doesn't stick around too long. I continue to love those little bunnies and I can't wait to see them w/the LC's! Oh and the Snowball Eye Spy Quilt below is wonderful!!! Absolutely adorable :) Feel better!

Don't go to the doctor or anything drastic, okay? I would be even more worried!!! Pppfffttthhhhhhh!! Get better and SOON! We missed you at Bible Study last night. HEY - Heather's cousin, Julie, was in two of the audience shots! How cool is that? Anyway, get some rest and call if you need anything. Love, LBJ

I am sniffling and snorting too--sore throat to boot. Blah!

Sprinkling get well stars in this post! ****

** Love the bunny and your niece's photo - but am caused to wonder if perhaps one or more of the bunnies needs to have red shoes on?! *** If you add this touch, your quilt will indeed be one of a kind and will make you smile each time you see it! ******

Please feel free to send a friend or relative for extra soft tissues like Posh Puffs so you have more and of a sort that is kind to your poor nose. I'd bring you some if not for the several hundred miles between us. No instant cyber delivery of Kleenex yet either.

Hugs!

Susan, so sorry to read that you are under the weather again -hope the cold doesn't stay too long.Pink bunny looks very perky with her lovely bow. Lovely shot of your niece - it's nice to see young people make an effort to dress up for a special occasion (guess that makes me sound old and cranky??). Have a great weekend despite the sniffles.

Poor lil' Susan! And mean, hateful old cold! Bah, humbug! The very NERVE of it to visit you with its annoying symptoms! Your newest bunny is adorable! And those red shoes? Who'd GUESS what drama they'd endured just a short time before the photo was taken? You did a great job! I hope you feel MILLIONS better. Lots of juice, lots of hot tea, and sooooo many hugs to you!

How well I remember The Red Shoe debacle! I was working for some kind of tyrant-woman at Les Miserable, and boy was I miserable! Not only could I not run home to see about the red shoe, I had a horrible blood sugar attack and she wouldn't let me leave the building between performances to go across the street and buy a snack. She was a real turkey. Thanks, Aunt Suzie, for rescuing the shoe from the toilet.
