I'm home. I got here early this afternoon. After picking Sophie up at Paul's, returning my phone calls, going through the mail, and spending some time with the Black Dog, I went by to visit a friend who is caring for her terminally ill mother. Then I went to Bible study. This is the first time I've had time to write a blog entry, and now I'm really too tired to write a good report on retreat and download photos.
So for your viewing pleasure, I've given you the above beautiful butterfly photo, taken by my friend Gregg, who was a photo protege of Vann's. And Vann would be extremely proud of the fine photographer his young friend has become. Thanks, Gregg, for sharing your photos with me.
Tomorrow, I promise a report on my wonderful, relaxing, fun quilting retreat, along with lots of photos. As fun as it was, though, I'm glad to be home with my Sophie.

I just wanted to say thank you for your very generous gifts to Granny. I have been giving her a little along the way so she would not be overwhelmed by everyones kindness. When she opened your box today, she just leaned back like she was fainting and looked at me and said I have never received so many gifts and cards. She looked at me and said, How do all these people know about me? She was a doll and you outdid yourself. Thank you is just not enough. I will be posting about it tomorrow hopefully. I hope you are doing well. I told Granny to pray for you during this time in your life. She said she would and if Granny says she will pray I will promise you that before she went to bed tonight my little (almost) 96 year old Granny was doing just what she said she would- Praying for you.

There is just no place like home. I know what you mean. I bet Sophie was so glad to have her mommy home with her.

Welcome home! The Little Yellow House is too lovely and charming to be considered humble, yet be it ever so humble, there's no place like home,
Wonderful butterfly picture! Vann would be so proud.
Looking forward to the retreat report. Please give Sophie a hug for me.
Hugs!
