Well, what else do I have to do in this stupid bed? I've done all the Sudoku and crosswords I can take for now. And my books aren't holding my attention either. What I want to do is to get back to sewing, to making pretty things like this little quilt that will be our Charming Girls Quilt-along.
Kelly has given us our Charming Girls tag for September, so at least I can do that from bed. Here are the questions we're assigned to answer:
1. Tell me what you'd name the little quilt at right and why.
I'd name her "Nine-Patch Pretties," simply because that what she says to me.
2. Use the letters in your first name to list characteristics about yourself.
S - Silly sometimes
U - Unhealthy right now
S - So happy to be a Charming Girl
A - Addicted to fabric
N - Nostalgic

Susan ~ I'm loving all your posting...keep it up; we don't mind. In fact, I've actually wondered how you could even think to post with all you're experiencing. Maybe it's the best medicine right now. One good thing about seeing Blackberry Creek lit up in bloglines, it keeps you in our thoughts and prayers to hear how you're doing.

Love the quilt, but I'd call it HopScotch because that's what it says to me. I've long intended to make this very quilt ever since I saw one similar with 5" 9 patches. It was the most adorable and feminine quilt I'd ever seen.
Sending more get well hugs to you!

For some reason (on another computer) I haven't been able to see many of the last pictures you've posted, so I went back and looked (home now) and scanned your posts. I hope you're feeling better soon. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

Keep on posting! We love it! I'm name her rainbow sherbet. Hey.. I wonder if I can join charming girls... It's about all the fabric i can afford at the moment. 2 or 3 charms packs at a time. Plus I have so little time to sew, it might be just the ticket I need!

Sorry you are having to stay in bed. Hope you feel better soon.
The quilt is so pretty and I would name it "Skittles" It reminds me of the candy.
Hugs
