Do you think I'll ever get an interview in that magazine?
I'll be back later (I hope) to show you some creations that came from that mess.

Going by the name of the magazine, I think you would qualify!! Looks normal to me. I say as long as you don't get hurt navigating around in your sewing room, a little mess can be quite comforting. I find if things look too neat I don't want to mess it up by starting a project. Fortunately, that hasn't happened to me yet. Mine is always messy. Love your site!

My mess is larger and my room much smaller. I see a connection there ... unless that's a stellar rationalization!! Sigh!
The room on the magazine homepage is daunting to me. I think I'd have many a lovely nap on that fainting couch in the left back corner. :D
Hugs!

looks like an interesting magazine, and your space looks like you were having fun.

I see some blocks for the "flutterby" quilt on your design wall.
My studio is always in a "CREATIVE" state...though I did just add some more open and airy shelves to hold open bins of lovely, inspiring fabrics!

Ha! That's what my space always looks like when I'm in the throes of a project.
Maybe we should start our own magazine "Where women get down and dirty and the magic really happens" - except, hmmmm, it might attract the wrong kind of audience.....

I invite you to could check out Cloth Paper Scissors Studios http://www.interweavestore.com/store/p/3075-Studios-Summer-2009.aspx
Inside each issue there are studios tucked in spare bedrooms, closets, basements, and dining rooms, as well as some "dream" studios, all with lots of creativity happening in them. Budget-friendly, too.

Well, you SHOULD! Hey, that's what a REAL creative space DOES look like! I say, "Give this lady a spot on your COVER!"

LOL, it never ceases to amaze me how brave my blogging friends are to post photos of their creative chaos! I've cleaned up my current project/mess (which was on my dining room table) and am itching to go make another mess!
