Phillip arrived yesterday at 6:00 p.m. Sophie was so excited, we thought she was going into shock. He'll be here for almost a month. Carrie is flying in at the end of the month when she finishes up with responsibilities in Wyoming.
Vann and Phillip have all kinds of plans, starting with cleaning out the basement. Bill came over this morning, and the three of them have been working down there all day. It's really looking good. Like me, Vann is a pack rat. I need to follow his example now and clean out some of my junk.
The ATCs in the photo are what I worked on today while the guys (and Sophie) worked in the basement. They're for a swap. I have to make four more.
Our autumy weather continues. Warm, dry days and cool nights, cool enough to need a sweater outside.
Vann is grilling steaks for dinner. He's really feeling good today. It has been so long since I've had one of Vann's yummy steaks, I'm really looking forward to this one.

Kai is HAPPY now 'cause Vann feels better today & has Phillip there (as well as Bill) to help boost his spirits & assist with the basement clean-up! AND 'cause my friend Susan has made some really cool ATCs and gets a yummy Vann-cooked steak later! Not to MENTION that I'm happy because SOPHIE, the cutie-pie, is happy!
