Ready for Retreat

Studio Mess This is what my sewing room looked like this morning.

How can I participate in a weekend sew-along in this mess? I asked myself. Well, I can't, I answered. So I've been working in there all day. And now it's more habitable (see photos below).

So I'm ready. My fabrics are selected. My cutting table is clean. My ironing board is cleared off. And I'm raring to go.

May I have your sewing room, pretty please and thank you?! It's wonderful space and nicely laid out, too. My sewing room is small and full of too much lovely stuff.... Many things have no away place either. Will clearly have to get busy and on the ball so I'm ready.

Any idea if I can play since yahoo still hasn't sent my email change confirmation? I cannot access Pat's page without that.

Enjoy your retreat - especially now that you are organized and ready to go. I love your sewing room. I need a space like that myself.

Well done! Looks all ready for your sewing to begin. My cutting table is very much like yours. Mine has a foldling butterfly leaf in the center if I would wish to make the table top smaller but I leave it larger. Enjoy the at-home retreat.

Nothing like a clean studio to inspire a new mess!

Yea for you! I love your sewing room--before and after! It looks nice and spacious. I will enjoy reading about everyone in the sew-along. I'm not joining in this time because I have my sewing club on Sat. and work on Sun. Have lots of fun and can't wait to see your project.

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOO behind with my blog reading, and I apologize! Yikes! I just caught up on all the entries you've recently made & this once, will answer all HERE. First, Vann - you are going to be SO ready for the next chemo in NO time & right back on track! The prayers are RUSHING at you, as well as the hugs! Sophie, you lil' precious, I'm GLAD you received a much-deserved Valentine! I wish I'd thought to send you one because I've absolutely fallen in love with you! And Susan, my treasured friend, I DO (as you well know) relate to the Fibro because currently it's kicking my backside. Sigh. HOWEVER, what a wonderful idea to have the virtual retreat! And I love what you've already done! Those fabrics are delicious! Also I just sat & GAPED at your wonderful sewing room. It's amazing & I can't WAIT to get mine set up once I've moved! Yours is an inspiration! Have FUN at the virtual retreat and keep showing us what you've done, okay? I LOVE YOU!

WoW! One day, I too, will have a sewing room a great as yours! Hopefully anyway! LOL Right now I get free use of the kitchen table for cutting and sewing, the livingroom for laying it all out and the garage for ironing. Love that room!! I'm all orange with envy! lol
