In addition to walking all through these woods and smelling the smells and treeing the squirrels, Sophie sometimes finds ground critters that interest her. Here she is digging to China to try to get at something that I never saw and she never got. Probably a chipmunk, or maybe just a bug.
Yesterday afternoon, I decided to bite the bullet and clean out my junk drawer in the kitchen. It's been needing cleaning and organizing for months (years, really), but I just dreaded it so much, I kept putting it off. I was sure it would take hours. Vann and I were at WalMart yesterday, and I picked up a drawer organizer for the task. When I got home and got started, it took me about 10 minutes. If I'd known I could have done that so quickly, that drawer would have been neatened long ago.

Now Susan, you need to get your wine bottle opener out of the junk drawer and put it somewhere you can get at it easier. lol
You did a great job with organizing things! Doesn't it feel good?

Whoa! What a difference. That must feel great.
I'm glad you decided you needed that fabric. Now, be sure to show us what you make from it.
Sophie's adventures make me smile.

Susan, Your drawer looks so lovely and tidy now- perhaps it will be incentive to do mine now.
I am glad that you are treating yourself to the fairy fabric- we all need those kind of treats in life that brighten our day and help us feel better about things. The fairies are quite charming - I can see why they are so appealing to you.
It must a lovely trail for you to walk each day - today was a lovely mild day- I think it was above zero so for January that is positively balmy. We have quite a bit of snow and the warm weather will make it sticky for snowmen and snowballs.
Have a great weekend.
Regards,
Anna

Seems like that's just part of human nature - to put off tasks that seem daunting, which makes them just grow and grow in our minds. Then when we actually bite the bullet and do them we wonder what the fuss was all about!

Your drawer looks great! I need to clean my drawer out like that...I bought one of those dividers several years ago...it looked great but over the year or two stuff was tossed in and now it's a wreck...I'm going to redo it tonight!!!
