Thumbs Up!

Vann Chemo Vann's chemotherapy went well yesterday. So far, no nausea. In fact, he's feeling better than he has felt since his laproscopic surgery. Thanks again to everyone for all your well wishes and prayers.

We go again today for the really dreaded treatment. This one is supposed to make him hypersensitive to cold. He won't be able to drink anything cold or touch anything cold after the treatment. It's really cold here, so he and Phillip dragged out all his cold-weather gear last night (even a balaclava and goggles).

Gene and Maria stopped in this morning to drop off a pot of chili that Maria cooked for us. They were on their way to south Alabama but will be home tonight.

I tried to get a photo of Maria and Sophie. But Sophie always get so excited when she sees Maria, so she wouldn't be still. It's a good shot of Maria though.Maria & Soph

Thanks to God for every "feel good" day. Tell Vann he looks like quite the cutie. He'll be making friends with every one there. I'm sure they need all of the smiles they can get, too.

My prayers are earnest.

I hope Vann isn't too cool tonight! Get out as many quilts as you can to keep him warm, and dress in shorts so you can turn the heat up(just remember it dries you out).

Sophie looks excited!! Bet she was wanting some chili too!

Hugs to you both!!

Molly

I'm so glad that Vann is doing so well. I hope y'all have a Very Merry Christmas.

I'm not sure who told me that when I was little but it has just always stuck with me.
