This is the yarn that my Autumn Yarn/Coffee swap partner Alicia sent me back in November. I love Vanna's Choice yarn. The colors are so soft, and so is the yarn. It's a 100% acrylic, machine washable, worsted weight yarn that feels and looks more like a soft wool, without the scratch and itch.I think I'm going to use the pink to knit the scarf and hat in the photo above. The project is in Fons and Porter's "For the Love of Knitting" magazine,
just out this fall. On the left is a photo of the premier issue, which contains the scarf and hat shown as well as many other beautiful projects. If you knit, you'll probably want to have a look at this new mag.Phillip and Amy left this morning to drive to south Georgia to see their grandparents. They'll be back tomorrow afternoon.
It's still rainy and dreary here, as it has been for days and days. I love rainy days, but even I am longing to see a little sunshine.
Healing Scripture for the Day:
And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.
John 14:13-14

I'm looking at my knitting basket but thinking, "finish the Christmas quilt project first!" Your posts make me miss knitting.

I love that magazine! I am knitting the two rugs from the middle section. Have fun with your scarf!
