Back in the Saddle

Vann and Soph Look who I caught sneaking off for a ride around the 'hood. Neither one of them wanted to hear any of my mothering advice, so off they went. They're out now, making the rounds.

Vann is feeling much better today. (Thank you, Father God.) The surgery sites are healing fine, and he isn't having nearly as much pain. Our visit with Dr. Wood (the surgeon) went well yesterday. Now we're waiting until our oncologist, Dr. Lakinpal calls with our time to come in and talk about treatment.

We continue to soak up the blessings of your prayers and those of countless others. We feel like "thank you" is an inadequate response to all the caring. We pray for you all daily, and we love you dearly.

When my dad was having his chemo treatments, I used to go sit with him and bring a light lunch. We would sit and joke with the nurses and distract ourselves. Now that he is well and I can look back at that time, I am grateful for the time we spent together, even under such odd circumstances.

Yay- good to hear the good news! He must have been tired of being bed-bound and wanted a change of scenery! Great picture of him and the dog *lol*
Glad to hear things are going well! I'll keep you all in my thoughts and prayers!

Wow! I have been away from reading blogs tooooo long. I have missed so much on your blog.

First of all I am sorry to hear about Vann but it looks like he is doing okay.

I love the photos of your wedding. My husband have also been married 14 years on Dec 14th.

Your knitting is beautiful as is all of your work.

Though I have been so busy and going in circles I think of you and want to wish you and your family a Very Merry Christmas and good health, love and peace in the new year.

Hugs and God Bless You

I'm so glad to see Vann feels well enough to have some fun...even if it probably freaked you out. I bet Sophie's happy to be in the saddle, too!

Wonderful to see Hubby out and about.
I have been reading your blog for a while.
Today is Blog Comment Day. I knew today was the day I needed to comment when I saw your husband doing so well. God is truly remarkable.
I hope you have a perfect day
