I'm Home!

And glad to be here. I had a great time at Retreat. I didn't overdo it, didn't sit for hours at a time the sewing machine, didn't stay up late sewing. I tried to pace myself. But even so, I'm having muscles spasms in my back today. But, you now what? It was worth it. It was nice to be with my friends with time to sew.

We got heartbreaking news while there. Two of our dear guild members were killed in a traffic accident this past weekend. Dr. T., our very first male guild member, and his daughter Cathy. Dr. T., a retired pediatrician, was 82 and Cathy was in her mid-50s. We will miss them so much.

If you have posted a comment here and didn't ask me a specific question, I probably won't reply. I have a ton of e-mails to get through--not to mention laundry and various other household chores (and there's the back thing). So just let me thank you all here for being wonderful blog readers and friends.

Here are pics of the Halloween Swap package that Pirate Toni received from Rabbit Toni. I have more pics and will post more tomorrow. If you haven't yet sent me a pic of your swap, please do. If you haven't received your goodies yet, don't panic. I've heard from a couple of swappers who were either late getting their goodies in the mail or confused about swap details. And if you haven't mailed yet and haven't let me know why you're late, please contact me at suscleve@aol.com. Thanks. Now, here are the pics.

I'm so sorry to hear about that tragic accident. But I'm glad you had a good time, even if you do have to pay for it. You were smart to pace yourself!
I posted about my box if you can link over to my blog. I'm leaving for Ohio tomorrow and won't have time, unless I can figure out how to do it on my mother's computer. It is dialup and slooooooow.
If I don't get back here when I'm in Ohio, I'll be in touch next week!
