Here's the schedule just for today:
*Finish laundry
*Put fresh linens on all beds
*Make breakfast
*Pick up
*Vacuum
*Bake cake for bake sale
*Take a shower
*Go to Book Club (I haven't read the book)
*Go to Bake Sale
*Make dinner and get ready for guests to arrive.
And there's no telling what I'm forgetting that needs to be done. Our son and his wife are visiting from Wyoming. You'll recall, or maybe not, that they were married in February (in Wyoming) and nobody from here got to attend the wedding. So our DIL's mom is throwing them a big reception tomorrow afternoon at one of our historic houses. So all of Vann's family is coming into town to attend.
This week has been pretty busy already. The workmen are busy putting the new siding on The Yellow House so there's constant bang-bang going on. Vann has been super busy replacing all the things that last week's lightning knocked out (air conditioning, sprinkler system, ice maker, phones, etc.).
The above photo is of something that's coming together in my sewing room. It's a surprise for someone who sometimes reads my blog, so I can't show it all.
The photo at right is of one of our grand-dogs, Ripple. She's a Blue Heeler and the sweetest dog ever.

Goodness Susan, I think I'd skip a few of those, like the book club and the vacuuming for starters. And switch the shower for a long, relaxing soak to clear your mind.*G*
Not much help am I?
Do have fun though. Can't wait to hear about the reception!

Hi Susan, I can see you are a busy gal. Me too, I don't even have time to make a list. Smile. Slow down, you will live longer, they say. I say, if it wasn't for the last minute, nothing would get done. I am curious about your sewing machine and what it is making. I love the dog, he is so sweet looking.
Hugs, Jeanne

Susan, I just wanted to leave a little note to let you know that I love your blog! I ran across it one rainy, Saturday morning and sat reading it for hours. I especially love your quilting posts. I have been sewing for a couple of years but I want to start quilting. Thanks for all the inspiration!

But I bet you did each & every one of the listed items! Have a beautiful weekend with all the lovely company!
