...especially when I'm expecting goodies. But great jumping jackrabbits! I was never expecting all the wonderful treasures that yesterday's mail brought.
The photo at left shows some of the fun things that Janet sent me as my partner in Sharon's Cupcake Swap: a terrific cupcake bank to hold my mad money, a cute little mini-purse, beautiful paper napkins, and a handmade fabric flower on a golf tee stem. The lovely handmade gift bag in the back of the photo held everything.
And, as if that weren't enough, Janet also sent me the gorgeous apron, made by Janet herownself, in the photo below.

I haven't finished making some of my goodies for Janet yet. She sent hers early because she's expecting a grandbaby any minute. And we all know where her mind will be when that little sweetie arrives.
Thank you so much, Janet. I've never enjoyed a swap more. You're a terrific partner. I'll have your stuff out to you before the August 18 deadline.
BUT WAIT! That's not all! My bag of Cloth Paper Studio Favorite Things Swap pink goodies from Maria also arrived in yesterday's mail. Lookee what all was in it. (This is my second pink stuff swap this month; the other was SwapBot. Oh, how I do love pink stuff!)
Thanks, Maria. Girl, you really do know how to stuff a goody bag. And what a beautiful bag to stuff! There isn't one thing in the entire group that I don't just love. The collage is super, as is the fabric made from yarn and fibers. And the laces and trims and buttons and beads and those sweet paper napkins and the bingo card, and EVERYTHING. You're a great swap partner, Maria. Hope to swap with you again soon.

So happy you like all the goodies, Susan! And thank you for all the nice comments! This was lots of fun. Sharon came up with a great idea. (Oh, the little flower is actually a pincushion to slide down in a spool of thread. I found it at the gift shop in the Quilt Museum in Paducah. I can't take credit for making it!)
Have a good week!
