I know you thrifting and yard-sale enthusiasts understand the saying, "One man's junk is another man's treasure." Remember the yard sale in my neighborhood that I attended on Saturday where I got the ME chair pincushion? I want to show you some of the other treasures I got. Remember that I said I spent only $6.75 for the lot. Above is some of the fabric I bought, two large pieces (yardage) of Cyrus Clark decorator fabric and a small piece of chenille. (I already had the book.) I think this fabric might figure into my back porch redo, which I'm planning.

And here's more fabric. Aren't the hearts cute? Especially the woven plaid.
I'm not sure what I'll do with this. It could become a blog giveaway prize.
Below are a beautiful crewel piece, a tin of American Girl paper dolls. and more fabulous fabric.
There's more. I haven't shown any of the laces and trims or sewing notions. Maybe another time.

On another subject, the "Green" phase of Shades of Inspiration to be exact, I just have to point out some terrific photos in this challenge. I don't believe Toni over at Rabbit Hill has posted her photos to the Flickr group, so don't forget to stop by her blog and have a look. Her green photography is terrific. It just makes me want to go and paint everything in my house green--and I'm a pink-blue-yellow person.

Did you ever rake in the loot!? So many treasures. I do love the 'plaid' fabric. Did you know that 'plaid' is a piece of clothing rather than the design on the fabric? The design is called tartan. That tartan appears to be generic rather than a clan (Scottish family) tartan. Ooopps. There I go rambling about Scottish stuff. Your loot is lovely.
