I'm getting in just under the wire for Sadlie Olive's "I Saw Red Challenge".
I've been seeing all the red stuff and loving it, but since red isn't really my color, I didn't think I had anything interesting to show. Then this morning, this scene just popped out at me.
I know what caused it. The little Mary Engelbreit pincusion chair is a recent acquisition. I found it at a wonderful neighborhood yard sale yesterday. It was in a bag of goodies with a price tag for the whole bag of 25 cents. Now you all know much these ME goodies cost, and this one looks spanking new. I got a lot of other goodies too: fabric, laces and trims, paper dolls, sewing notions, needlework pieces, tons of stuff. And I spent a grand total of $6.75. I'll show some more of my finds later maybe.

You did great, Susan. That pincushion is adorable.
Love the Gwyneth quote.
It is 99 degrees here. Ugh!!! I hope this passes. It's not supposed to be that hot in June.

That is absolutely fabulous!!!! I love the flowers, and of course the ME chair! It's a vibrant picture, looking at this makes me forget for almost a second that it's so hot and humid here I want to crawl in the cold bath tub and never get out. I may be back later just enjoy that photo.
How's the motorcycle settling in?

What a fun post. More red and white stuff. I just saw Heidi Ann's post on red and white. The little chair is a real find, and displayed so sweet. I especially love the Kick-ass lipstick quote.
We are hot here in the mountains too. We rarely use our air, but it's on today!
Take care, Jeanne

That is so cute! I love ME stuff, although I don't have much. Debbie J of Homemaking Dreams made me the cutest clothespin bag of ME fabric. I will blog about it soon.
My favorite color, as a matter of fact, is red! You look like a pink or sky blue lady--am I right?

Yay! I'm glad you got in on the I Saw Red. Now I read they're possibly continuing with GREEN. I'll have to put my brain to working on that. Since I love red, I didn't have much problem with that color. I love your yard sale treasures. and...wow on that motorcycle purchase!
