Quilting By the Bay

B_quilting_by_the_bayCome along with me on my annual visit to a great little quilt shop, Quilting By the Bay in Panama City, Florida.

So what did I come away with???

B_bag_2 Let's open up the bag and take a look.

I cleared the bolts with both of the above fabrics without a clue as to what I'll use them for. They were just too pretty to leave even a single yard on the bolt.

I bought this packet of Lakehouse "Hydrangea Garden" charm squares to make the Charm Tote, for which I already have the pattern.

And how could I resist the lovely tulips and roses and the red/yellow combos.

Then a quick swing by the patterns and notions (look at that wonderful Uncle Sam Sophie dog--and I also got one of those new-fangled yo-yo makers and a pattern that uses yo-yos) and it was back to the condo to put our feet up and relax.

Well, I know I am allergic to needles ;->, but every one of those fabrics are gorgeous. I adore the polka-dot. I can't wait to see what you make.

Wow! What wonderful fabric...I love everything you bought there. It looks like a charming shop.
Hugs,
Penny

As for peonies and ants..there are several different ideas about it. But basically, the ants love the nectar and they help the type buds open...
