Here are some wonderful fabrics I have come by this week. The one above is from my DD Andy, for my birthday. It arrived Monday. Isn't it wonderful. It's from an American Jane fabric collection called "Peas and Carrots." One piece is panels that I'll use to make a quilt I think. The other contains panels for a fabric book. Some future baby will get these.
Above are two fat quarters that I won in one of our games at guild on Monday. I don't know what the fabric collection of manufacturer is. There's no printing on the selvage to tell me, and I haven't been able to find either one of them on the internet. It doesn't appear to be American Jane or Dick and Jane. Anybody know what this fabric is?
Last night, Lori and I stuffed Prayer Bears. All I have to do is stitch up their little legs, and I'll have a sackful to give Ms. Brenda at church on Sunday.
We're having a very blustery day here at The Yellow House on Blackberry Creek. Sophie, Daisy, and I were outside just now and saw a crow blow by sideways.
BTW, Daisy is doing well. All her blood tests, etc., came back negative. She doesn't have epilepsy or anything else they can find. She is with us since last night while Lori visits her grandbaby Miss Lily in Houston for Easter. I told Daisy she was to have no hissy fits around me and scare me to death. So we're hoping for a peaceful Holy Week with our two favorite doggies.

Your fabric is beautiful, but man all those bears are so inspiring. Wonderful work.

I'm crazy about that fabric with the children on it. The drawings remind me of those on the old Strawberry Shortcake prints, which I still have some of. But your fabric looks more substantial.

The fabric - or the characters on the fabric - do look familiar. I'll be back to see if anyone figures it out. What fun! I started a new mini quilt today. You need to critique the one I'm showing on my blog today. Don't look too close!
Glad Daisy is well.
