This was such an awful thing to hear about yesterday. Sadly, I thought it was only a matter of time before some sort of attempt was made on her life. I'm the events director for a university and we had her scheduled to speak a few years ago. She had to cancel at the last minute due to her mother's illness. I think it would have been quite an honor to have met her.

Such a terrible - terrible tragedy. I just wish the world would stop and think about what they are doing -- and give peace a chance. It is so incredibly sad what has happened.

I read an epitaph on a tombstone years ago and was reminded of it today when I heard the news of her death. Heaven has no beauty that earth will not destroy... So very sad. xoxo Nita
