The plumber was hardly out of the way before I was snapping pictures to show you my new beautiful white enamel-over-cast-iron kitchen sink with it's shiny new faucets. I just love it. I've hated the metal one ever since we bought this house> Now I'm so happy, I just want to WASH SOMETHING!
Thanks to my sweet husband Vann for getting this for me and the house.

Ooooh that is NICE!! It reminds me of the one my parents have but theirs isn't a double. Ours is nasty stainless steel, uggggly with a cheap faucet(because at the time that was all we could afford). I so want to redo our kitchen and dining area, specially after seeing your pretty sink and sunshiney paint!

The new sink is really nice. I have a white sink - but I have a white faucet - which are not very good and have been replace twice now - I like the look of the chrome faucet with the white sink. Enjoy your washing up :))
We have finished The Sopranos now!!

Beautiful! We have one of those higher faucets, too. It really makes a difference!
Thanks so much, btw, for all your good wishes for my mom. I never thought that anasthesia (sp?) would be the problem. My mom is 100% alert, and I'd hate to see that change.
I'm hoping, as time goes on and she starts feeling better, that she'll be lifted out of her depression. On the bright side, it's rare that she gets to see all her kids within such a short time frame!

Isn't it strange the things that make us happy as we get older? I still don't want to wash things, but it looks so nice and pristine. Enjoy!
And the faucet is great!

Well, they install metal sinks "up here", too. In new homes. We got one. "Stainless". Supposed to be "the" thing. I hate it, too. I
would prefer a "farmers sink" with that "deep" front on it, but after Jeff bought the house I
wanted, I can't complain TOO much. I had w white
sink like yours- shoulda brought with me!!
Can Soph do plumbing, too??

I, too, love white sinks...mine is almond colored, held over from yrs. back when ALMOND was THE color. Never again will I fall for that "it's the IN thing" line when it comes to choosing such things that have so much "staying power". I want a WHITE, farmhouse sink but my almond one is still in perfect shape!! OOOOH, dear!
